Why RMP

  • The RMP helps individuals to understand why they do what they do and what motivates them.
  • An individual’s unique motives can be used to create an ideal environment for them. As a result, they are more satisfied and less frustrated in different aspects of their lives.
  • Improves communication between individuals by eliminating misunderstandings.
  • Shows how the intensity of one’s values and desires compares to that of others. As a result of this knowledge, people are able to communicate, influence, and collaborate more effectively.
  • Non-judgmental, it eliminates stereotyping people, encourages individuals to embrace their differences, and capitalizes on each individual’s unique genetic potential.
  • Provides guidance on how to accept and include different opinions and worldviews
  • Assesses someone’s natural compatibility with others and identifies areas of conflict.
  • Assess someone’s natural fit for a role or team objectively.
  • Identifies the greatest temptations and helps create avoidance plans.
  • In order to live the most meaningful life, people need to discover what is most meaningful to them at work and in life.
  • The RMP is the first empirically derived, standardized assessment of human needs. This is the only significant taxonomy of human needs derived from factor analysis (mathematical congruence of goals) of survey data in which diverse samples of people were asked what drives them most.

About Us

The Reiss Motivation Profile® (RMP) is a psychological test that measures an individual’s intrinsic motives, thereby leading to insights about core values, personality traits, and behavior. To use the test properly, an examiner must have knowledge of the RMP’s scientific development, underlying theoretical constructs, administration, norms, and interpretive principles. An examiner also should have a reasonable degree of professional experience working with clients in his field. Therefore, a candidate for certification training for the RMP for Business or RMP for Sports should have demonstrated the ability to successfully complete college-level coursework and also should have a minimum of one year of experience working with the type of clients to whom the RMP would be administered. Success in college-level coursework can be demonstrated through the completion of a college degree, successful participation in college classes, attainment of relevant professional certifications, or a history of successful work experience in business or athletics.
